The organizer of Lovina festival 2003, the first ever event, is delighted to
welcome visitors of the festival. The event is expected to be able to revive
the local culture and potentiality, as well as trigger and promote the
development of economical aspects the North Bali region. |

As a part of the tourist destination in Bali, North Bali has
its own uniqueness and characteristics, wich are promising. Bull Race,
Wajang Wong, Sangyang Penyalin, Traditional Game, Bondres, Janger are among
them. Specially, this regency can offer you large space, quiet and beautiful
panorama’s: Mayong, Lemukih, Katiasa ars some of the examples. In these
three villages you find beautiful rice terasses. |

many sea and mountain views ara available, which make North Bali a perfect place
for those who are interested in deep meditation. In fact, some old spiritual
places connected to old tradition in Buddhism, Shivaism and Animism are all
being practiced and maintained by local people. Considering the above mentioned
potentiality, in the near future, the local government would set up North Bali
as the place for developing agriculture and eco tourism.

By the means of the festival, we are confident that there will be so many
positive gain for the Balinese people, local government, as well as the visitors
themselves. It also means that North Bali people are always optimistic that
tourism industry will always progress and bring the prosperity to all.
