Canggu Hotels

Canggu was up until fairly recently, a charming fishing and farming village area 15 to 20 minutes north of Seminyak and approximately 45 minutes from the international airport. Canggu is a large area covering a long stretch of beach and rice-field dotted rolling hillside. The area continues up the coast starting from beyond Batu Belig (north Seminyak – Kerobokan) and running north from the village of Berawa through to Cemagi (just south of Tanah Lot) and including Echo Beach, Seseh and Pererenan along the way.

Canggu is developing rapidly and is becoming a popular vacation destination with new luxury Canggu hotels, villas, and accommodations appearing all the time. Canggu is popular with digital nomads and there are a number of co-working spaces in the area, catering to people working online, while enjoying a beach vacation. Canggu beaches are a pleasant retreat, wide and long, composed of black or gray sand well-known for decent size surf breaks and less for swimming.
