Kuta Hotels

Kuta is a five kilometer white sand beach originally discovered by tourists as a surfing paradise. It is now equally well-known for its numerous shopping venues. Kuta is a 15-20-minute drive from the airport and is home to the busiest tourist venue in Bali. Rows of accommodations are available from the humble home stay to brand new, sprawling luxury resorts and hotels in Kuta. In between you will find every manner of restaurant, boutique shops as well as numerous bars, discos and clubs.

The beach is wide and well maintained, though not as clean as it could be. There are many beach vendors offering numerous products and services. One can rent a surfboard and catch a small wave in the shallow sandy breaks near the beach. The area is convenient, but prone to traffic congestion, and visitors can cover it on foot, bike or metered taxi to easily access supermarket, department stores, shopping malls, spas and even a water park. Once the sun goes down, Kuta is the party zone of Bali.
